Hi, I’m Jess.

I’m here because I am a therapist offering in-person and nature-based sessions in Portland, Oregon.

I work with people going through it: overwhelmed, stuck, untethered; people who are grieving; navigating life transitions, from the planned to the surprised and the unexpected; exploring identities, seeking meaning; people rewilding their trust; people who are curious about change, curious for more, people returning to their full aliveness.

You’re here because . . . well, you get to tell me.

Maybe you want to talk to someone, who will listen without judging.

Maybe you’re here because you’re curious about taking this outside? Same. We can go  there.

Maybe you don’t know — you don’t have to.

Maybe you’re here because you see parts of yourself in some of the following . . .

I am somehow both too much and not enough • I don’t know how to slow down • I’m restless • I have difficulty identifying my own needs • I struggle to ask for help • I’m exhausted • I think I overthink • I like to wander • I’m drawn to nature • I connect deeply with animals • I’m good at being there for others • I daydream • I need to get the words just right • I feel stuck, sometimes even trapped • I’m disconnected from myself • I feel scared of my own anger • I retreat when things feel overwhelming • I often feel misunderstood • I have so much to say but can’t find my voice • I can’t remember how to trust • I want what feels more and more like a fantasy • I feel lonely • I feel lost • I’m unsure of where to go from here •

Finding your therapist can be a real challenge.

I offer an invitation; there’s no pressure to have the right words, wants, or needs.

If something here speaks to you, that’s enough to begin.
